If he's staying they'll be working on a new contract. If he's leaving they'll be working on the transfer and his new contract and that will take even longer.

I'll answer this seriously though. We look so good with the 343 and steamrolled our bogey teams and some top sides with that formation but I can never trust this team to be consistent for a whole season. Some new weakness will pop up.

At this stage with two weeks to go before pre season I would already write off our summer window as a failure but this time we only need one more starter and that's a striker. The CM and possible CB can come later in the window but I think we need our CF to be ready to go for the first game of the season. If that happens then I'll start to think about a title challenge.

Personally don't think we'll sign another CM unless Wilshere is sold. And even if we did sign one I don't believe he'd be a world beater like your Naby Keita's etc.
