I suspect we'll be dragged into a bidding war for Lemar. Monaco look like they're in no hurry to sell and tbh, rightly so if they want to make the most out of their players. Unless we yolo it with a big deal, we probably won't see him come here. Hope I'm wrong though.

I think Lemar is already having serious thoughts about moving. And seeing Lacazette make the switch will add to that. I don't expect him to put in a transfer request or anything but there's a chance of him coming clear to Monaco about his desire to play for us.

Thought he went under the radar a bit last season due to the likes of Bernardo Silva and Mbappe but he would be a snip at 40m in today's market. 21 years of age who is already an established star and he can only improve. Totally disagree. He is not "very basic" and not just "very clever". He is a super talented footballer, great technique and vision and at 21 has a pretty high ceiling. He is much more laid back and low key than Mbappe but still an amazing player in his own rights. 45 M offer is a joke and will not lead anywhere.

Very basic as in simplicity, he does most things right, and what the game wants of him, kind of like Mesut. Not a negative trait. The technique and talent goes without saying. Not just "very clever"? Super duper clever if that helps then.

45M isn't a joke offer by any means. We just bought a guy who has scored 37 goals for slighty more ffs. Silva also went for a bit more.
