The guy is a great manager that whole thing where he made them run 13.7 kilometers or something because other team ran that much more them was pure genius. Neville jizzing himself, but bar the quality of their scorers, it was an archetypal mid table performance. Lots of blood and thunder early, caught out a better opponent with their intensity, started to fade because they couldn't keep the ball for more than 3 seconds, and then backs to the wall and try to hit on the break all second half.
If Liverpool hadn't defended like ******, and Nunez hadn't got himself suspended, they would have got a result despite their bang average midfield tonight. I mean Lisandro Martinez must have been so grateful for having the power and pace of a past his peak Firmino as his main opponent all night. Wouldn't be surprised if Che Adams does him in next week.
