Szczesny would be astute since he wouldn't take a valuable non HG spot in the squad.

But isn't he still the no.1 at Juventus? Why would he come to sit on the bench. Unless he's looking for a retirement gig for 3-4 years.

Szczęsny would be a good backup/challenger to Raya but can't help but feel that we should have kept Martinez and cemented the goalie position for years (instead of mixing it up every 1-2 years)

Juve have been heavily linked with Di Gregorio who plays for Monza, I think we were at a point too tbf. He’s been better than Szczesny this season from the little I’ve seen, so wouldn’t be surprised if they offload him.

Szczesny is still the same as before lol able to produce very good saves but has those bozo moments in him.

I'm surprised no one is talking about Vlahovic. He has the 1 thing we don't have at CF and that is an elite striker of the ball. He's got 2 years on his current deal and his wages are set to increase to 13m Euros Net. Juve are considering selling him because of this. He's still only 24 so we'd get his prime. The only issue is it would take 330k-350k a week to beat Juve's net offer to him. But if Juve are struggling with his wages, they'd probably sell him for the £70m they paid for him. If we sell Jesus and Nketieh we can pretty much give him their wages and we'd be set. Below is the current situation:

Vlahovic currently earns around €8m net per season, a figure that’ll rise to €12m from July onwards. He has two-and-a-half-years left on his contract with Juventus, creating a significant financial obstacle for the Old Lady.

TMW details how Juventus are looking to extend Vlahovic’s contract to June 2028 or 2029, giving him a slight salary raise from the current €8m net, possibly to around €10m net including add-ons. As such, they’d be spreading out his salary from €24m over two years to €50m over five.

The problem for the Bianconeri is that the 24-year-old striker could decline the offer and simply wait for a sale in the coming years, being out of contract at the age of 26, the prime of his career.

Arsenal Quotes

Don’t be scared to be ambitious. It’s not a humiliation to have a high target and to fail. For me, the real humiliation is to have a target and not to give everything to reach it.
