Eze good but he's not ESR level. ESR was our top goal scorer the last time he was given game time. Eze plays ACM, we already have a abundance of talent in that role in Ødegaard, ESR and Vieira. Even if we were to play him LW we already have 2 LWs that are better in Trossard and Martinelli.

Olise is too good to be a back up to Saka so it be a poor move for him. Olise will go to Utd and be their best player.

Wharton is the palace player that makes most sense. Jorginho only has 1 more year and Wharton would be a big upgrade on Partey who has flopped with and is hopefully moved on in the summer.

There’s a reason ESR isn’t given game time.

Imagine extending deadwoods like partey, nketiah, ,elneny, Jorginho and refusing to extend your best midfielder who is always available. No wonder the club has only one fa cup to show in 5 yrs even after spending 500 million. The worst thing they sold him for 15 million and signed havertz for 70 million View attachment 24200

Xhaka would’ve great to have this season but for a club on the fringes of PSR you can’t really blame them for being proactive and accepting 20M.

Partey has never been extended as far as I’m aware. Nketiah will earn the club a decent fee.

Elneny might’ve been a charity case but fans can’t exactly harp about the ‘class of Arsenal’ if we dumped him after surgery.

Jorginho has proved a useful member of the squad. Havertz too continues to prove his doubters were wrong.

That's, like, your opinion, man.

I don't understand the Jorginho thing, unless his new terms are somehow lesser than the +1 option we had. Just wild to think there's a change we've given him a raise.

As far as other players go, Eddie at least was used to extended periods of time and will bring on *some* money. Ramsdale is our most sellable asset right now, but unless he goes to Chelsea I don't see us doing more than breaking even on him and even if he does end up at Chelsea, I would like to be proven wrong in thinking we're not going to extract the maximum possible value like they did to us with Havertz.

Club made its bed with Reiss, though. As did the player.

It will be interesting to see what kind of fees we're getting for that bunch, along with ESR. A different challange for Edu, that's for sure.

Disagree that a manager preference of overlooking a player means he isn't talented.

Looks at international managers for an instance

A past it Thiago Silva ahead of Gabriel.

Saliba being third or fourth choice CB for France.

Maguire being Southgates favourite CB.

Look at how Chelsea fans thought so little of Havertz and look how well he has done for us.

Pep didn't give Palmer game time and sold him and look how well he has done at Chelsea.

It doesn’t matter if he is talented or not. The manager don’t want to use him. Either remove him or the manager. But he is gonna be 24 in the summer and has had total 485 mins of premier league football in 2 season. If he has any care or ambition in football he moves in the summer. If he just wanna get paid and enjoy London life he stays

According to the Mutant Turtle ITK, these are the list of names we are considering.

Defenders:
Hato
Braithwaite
Murillo

Midfielders:
Bruno Guimaraes
Onana
João Neves

Attackers:
Isak
Neto
Williams
Olise

From the names above, I think Hato, Bruno Guimaraes and Neto are most likely.
Tbf Murillo passes the eye test and my Forest friends all think he's one of their best players along with MGW.

We replaced Xhaka with Rice and are in a position to potentially win the league with 2 games remaining. Oh, and Havertz would be a key figure in that also.

Rice was signed as a DM not xhaka replacement who was playing as LCM

Xhaka was a key player in the CM area who left and Rice was a key player in the CM area who was brought in.

In our best periods of this season Rice was actually playing LCM with Jorgi DM so you’re clutching at straws and missing the general point.

Does @BergMan know you are rivalling him as the number one AM Xhaka fanboy ? 😜

Arsenal Quotes

No one could have imagined for a single second that he would come to us. Only David Dein, Sol, his agent, and I knew what was going on. When I called a press conference to announce the arrival of a new player, and Sol Campbell walked into the room full of journalists, it was a bombshell.
