He's world class, imo. His ability to cover space and win balls is unmatched right now, and he contributes to the press, pushes the ball forward effectively, has a long range shot, and is a good set-piece taker. He's not a creative ball progressor or a technician on the ball, but that alone doesn't stop him from being world class. He's not been world class as that's not his level yet, but he's been very good and helped made use better defensively. Clearly better with an actual playmaker like Jorginho or Partey starting in the 6.
True, but for the position he is playing his ball skills are fantasticHe's not a creative ball progressor or a technician on the ball, but that alone doesn't stop him from being world class.

Wildly different physical profiles but he's very similar to N'Golo Kanté in terms of what he brings to the table. It's no wonder he forms a good partnership with Jorginho.
Not to mention he ripped Chelsea apart to make that first goal. His ball carrying is really going up a level in the past 2 games or maybe I didn't see it before
Been saying this!Wildly different physical profiles but he's very similar to N'Golo Kanté in terms of what he brings to the table.
Kanté-Jorginho was a CL winning midfield, too. Granted it was an underdog title, but the two were basically the biggest contributors as well.Been saying this!
Pair him with a prime
jorginho type and that’s still a PL winning midfield. Pair him with like a Prime Pogba and you’re looking at the best midfield partnership in the world.
Go on…
I think it's scandalous that she's being forced off social media because of her appearance.
She looks like the sort that Gdeep would prey on anyway. Best she stays away from Brum.
Rice was happy not to see Jorginho behind him so he can bomb forward with more license.
With Jorginho there is more hesitation from Rice to go forward as Jorginho is defensively frail and awful in transitions.
With Partey in the team, Rice, Ødegaard and our attackers receive progressive balls much quicker before opposition teams can double up on them.

He will look great against a disillusioned Chelsea and an injury-ravaged Wolves, for sure.
