Do we need Frey?

hmmm, frey is a top class keeper and also very young. Lehman is a good keeper, but hasn't got ages left in him, frey would be a better option to build a defence around in the long run.

imo Frey is overrated and error-prone. I'll be amazed if we sign him. Lehmann will be Arsenal no.1 for the next 2 or 3 seasons.

No chance. Lehmann has flaws, but he is still generally excellent and capable of maintaining this standard for another few seasons. Stack is rated above Taylor within the club, and Vieira was in the Times last week saying he could be one of the best young keepers in the country. £7m for a superfluous player? Stroll on.

Good to hear that we like our Lehmann. Yes we do and we also hope to see Taylor and Stack develop into England keeper. This is the first instance that we do not supply a goalkeeper to England. A bit of a shame for Arsenal!
