would take him too, but i dont think wenger will bring us a winger. but wenger is always up for a surprise.... or no surprise...

by the way nice to clarify this would be a (in)-move. i already lost track of all our crap wingers.

Tall, strong, skilful, versatile and scores. Wouldn't mind if we raided Inter for Murillo/Miranda, Perisic and Icardi.

How does he compare to Mahrez/Mkhitaryan? Never seen him but his stats don't exactly blow anyone away. Seems another fourth place signing then wanting to challenge for the tittle.

What seems to you is about right. Walcott replacement but better than him, Ox and Ramsey out wide.

Excuse my interrupting self, @4R5Emaniac and @Rimaal .

As a Croatian, I feel the urge to comment Ivan 's game.
On the subject of Perišić, he has been Croatia 's best performer some time, about 2 years it seems.
Very aggresive, explosive player.
Ambidextrous.
Is a righty but shoots freekicks with the left.

Can play the LW or RW.
Rocket of a shot with both.
Pretty clinical for a winger.
Can pass, not Mesut though, plays great defense.

Is not the most skillful.
Uses the bicycle dribble everytime yet it works because of his speed.

Is what a stronger Walcott should have been.
I 'd even say Perisic would be great upfront for us in the mold of Theo.
(if we were to switch to a more counter-attacking setup, going out )

Underrated in the air, can jump through the roof.
He 's been unlucky vs Turkey when he hit the upright.

Overall, I 'll get flamed for saying this, but to me,
he feels like a blue collar poor man 's Cristiano Ronaldo.

He 'll never be as skillful or score as many goals.
But he works tirelessly and can score in a hurry.
Anyone who has been watching the Euros can see that.

He is right there with Mahrez, Mkhy and Gotze.
Even if he isn 't nearly as technical of a player.

That being said, there 's no snowball chance in hell this happens.

Nah, you won't get flamed by me at least given CR is what I thought of his goal the other day. Thanks for this.

But best Croatian performer? Over Modric, Badelj, Srna, Rakitic etc?

Consistency and performance wise, yes.
Modrić plays lax in "smaller" games.

Badelj is solid, needs to make the next.
A guy who does a lot of things good.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
Hasn 't featured much before.

Srna is playing solid this tournament.
He is the emotional leader.

But, what you haven 't seen is some pure poverty performances turned in by our captain which prompted criticism that made him retire after these Euros.
Class person but an average player.
His crossing has been of the mark.

Rakitić is class.
Amazing player and consistent too.
He has been finally put in the right spot.
At the #10 he is amazing.

But whenever we needed a goal,
Perišić was there to rescue us.
Similar to Sanchez a year ago.
He doesn 't want to lose.

Both Rakitić and Modrić are better than
Ivan.
Impact-wise Perišić does more for the NT.

That sounds great and you have great potential as a poet, btw ;)

I'd love a Perisic like player for sure according to your description. We're weak on quality and end product from wide despite the numbers as you know.

Giroud/XXX
Perisic/Ox-Özil/Jack-Alexis/Ramsey
Xhaka/Coq-Santi/Elneny

Not exactly mouthwatering but does improve the quality. What do you expect him to cost? (excusing the Brexit stuff)

That was posted from my HTC, so it comes out different then on the PC.
;)

Unfortunately, Perišić is settled in Inter with Brozović also there.
Kovačić 's return is also a possibility(my hunch).

Arsenal is not seen as a step up to Inter by Croats.
We are close to Italy and a lot of players like it there and play there.
A lot of the players are actually Inter or Milan, Juventus fans.

Only Real Madrid, Barcelona are seen as true step-ups.
Depending on preference, a lot of them love MUTD, LFC, MCFC, P$G.
And some do like the mighty Arsenal.
None of our CRO players have expressed willingnes to move to the PL.

The price tag is, right now, I think 52-69 million pounds.
Because ATM he is the biggest goalscoring threat at Internazionale,
he is not old and Inter really want to hold on to him.

His real worth is a bit larger than Alexis 's fee.
He isn 't yearning for playing time, he is settled.
Reckon before the €uros we 'd get him for 40 million.

Arsenal Quotes

In 1997/98 we became English champions as I had set myself three missions to carry out which I felt were essential. One: to have an impact on the result and the team's playing style. Two: to foster the player's individual development. Three: to strengthen the structure of the club and enhance its global influence.
