The man's not top dog in Jersey for nothing. He knows there's only so much Angeball can do in the face of a superior outfit

Seeing as I've contributed massively to our season by shepherding the matchday thread against the denizens of the lost & the damned, I figured I should lend some of my gloss to AM once again as I will our beloved Gunners on to victory. Don't know why I'm even bothering as Google seem to think it's a foregone conclusion.

We must be vigilant against this lot, they pushed us all the way last season & they play good football, so we should not slacken in the slightest. But, after the magnificent showing today, I think it's fair to say with a good bit of rest, we should have all the tools to dismantle them if we remain calm.

I certainly am looking forward to this guy losing his rag like he did in the 97th minute last season

In any case, we're on the cusp of greatness & we have a chance to heap further pressure on 115 Charges FC who, hopefully, won't have it all their way.

God willing, we'll take them all the way to the final Sunday. It is our burden, it is our destiny!!

No, I wouldn't - it's soft but an obvious pen. If Raya did that you'd be tearing his head off.

I would be saying it wasn't a pen, plenty for me to complain about Raya when he goes deer in headlights for me to be mad at him for a player leaving a leg.

Really he can't give minutes to Vieira, Jorginho and Kiwior? The game was over, the season is finishing and you can't rotate your squad? This guy is never going to keep more than 12/13 players match fitted.

The excuse of players not playing well when they go in is something he cause. How professional players are supposed to keep their pace with others if you play once every one or two months... It's like being perpetually in preseason.

Good overall performance. Should have put the game to bed first half.

Taking my Arsenal glasses off though...That's not a foul on Raya. Really Weak goalkeeping.

Anyway 2 more to go. Let's keep the pressure up on Man City!

What I don’t like is that indirectly through the referee we give rival fans more ammunition, the Bournemouth goal should’ve stood. And we should have won 3-1. That would be a better merit of our title credentials, showing we can handle that adversity. Instead they’re all saying that refs are keeping us in the title race.
Who cares what rival fans are saying? Let them cry

I agree the goal should have stood but it's for the referrees to officiate.

We're up against 115, we're massive underdogs in this title race... We don't have anywhere close to the advantages they do.

Yes.

Fair criticism, really.

Rival fans complaining doesn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. Let them cry. They’re mad at their loveless fathers, not us.

Rotate for what? Next game is in 1 week and the game was not 100% over at 2-0.

Arsenal Quotes

In June 1996, David Dein, Peter Hill-Wood and Danny Fiszman came out to Nagoya to meet me on behalf of Arsenal. Within an hour we came to an agreement. The Japanese directors didn't try to keep hold of me in the usual way but talked with persuasive arguments... But as far as I was concerned, the decision was taken. Arsenal. A decision that would change my life.
