Let’s be honest, we’ve been spoilt when it comes to legends and fan favourites during Arsenal’s glorious history. From Cliff Bastin to Frank McLintock to more modern day icons such as Thierry Henry and Aaron Ramsey.
During the difficult transition period between Highbury to the Emirates, we have all, at times, wished for one our former greats to return in the peak of their careers and help the club not lose the League Cup to Birmingham City, for example.
We kind of got our wish when Arsenal’s leading goalscorer of all-time Thierry Henry returned and gave us a couple more wonderful moments. However, he was no Benjamin Button and he wasn’t the same Titi that left us, of course.
