Jakub Kiwior’ agent, Sasha Baranov, has revealed the reasons why it was difficult for his client to reject Arsenal.

THE LOWDOWN: JANUARY ARRIVAL

Kiwior was Arsenal’s second arrival in the January transfer window. The left-footer defender comes in as a cover for Gabriel Magalhaes at the heart of the defence and could help at Left back and in midfield.

It was a crucial signing needed at the Emirates as the Gunners enter the crucial months of the season.

Although he is yet to feature, good words have been spoken about him and Arsenal fans can’t wait to see him wear the club’s colours.

THE LATEST: IMPOSSIBLE TO REJECT

Jakub Kiwior, a 22-year-old Polish centre-back, moved to Arsenal from Spezia.

Despite interests from several top Serie A clubs, including Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Napoli, the player decided to opt for Arsenal.

According to his agent Sasha Baranov, the reason they chose Arsenal was due to the club’s reputation and the fact that they were the ones who were desperate to sign Kiwior.

“When Arsenal arrives for a 22-year-old boy it becomes difficult to say no,” Baranov said.

“If it had been Juventus or another team it would have perhaps been the same, but Arsenal is the team that has gone further in the discussions.”

THE VERDICT: HIS TIME WILL COME

It is understandable why Kiwior has not yet made his debut for Arsenal, as he is currently behind Gabriel and Saliba in the starting XI.

However, he has already been in the squad and made his first appearance on the bench in the FA Cup defeat against Manchester City.

And with the Europa League not set to return for the Gunners next week, Arsenal fans might have to wait longer to see him play.
