Arsenal have been trying to tie Dani Ceballos to a permanent contract.
The on-loan Real Madrid midfielder has impressed Mikel Arteta in recent months, but the winger has his sights set on another destination.
Ceballos has made 14 Premier League appearances this season, assisting twice.
The club are said to be in communication with Real Madrid in order. However despite Arsenal’s interest, Estadio Deportivo report that Ceballos would rather return to former club Real Betis.

The Gunners are already said to have opened talks with Fekir’s representatives over a potential switch, and believes they can land the 26-year-old for around £30million.
The talented midfielder has just over a year to run on his current £350,000-a-week deal.
