Viva La France!

Or at least that is what you should be saying as an Arsenal fan. Remember the last time the Gunners had a core French internationals at the heart of their team. That is right, we became ‘Invincible’.

Patrick Vieira in the heart of the midfield. Robert Pires out on the wing. Sylvain Wiltord as a super sub. A young Gael Clichy breaking into the side. And of course Thierry Henry up front. (let’s maybe forget about Pascal Cygan.)

Arsenal have the first time in a long time to bring such a French contingent again.

Think about it.

Blaise Matuidi in the heart of the midfield. Thomas Lemar out on the wing. Olivier Giroud as a super sub. A young Yassin Fortune breaking into the side. And of course Alexandre Lacazette up-front. (let’s maybe forget about Francis Coquelin.)

I’m not saying that side containing the aforementioned would be the next to go unbeaten in a Premier League season, but there is no season that a France-filled Arsenal side like that could not challenge for the title.

France are arguably the best national team in world football right now, just as they were in 2003/04. Let history repeat itself.
