Arsenal are still keen on bring Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema to the Emirates.
The Frenchman has been linked with Arsenal for some time and according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, the Gunners are finally ready to swoop in.
Benzema is in his 8th season at the Bernabeu and the 28-year-old has stayed loyal to the Spanish giants since his £30 million switch from Lyon in 2009.
The reports claim that Real are willing to sell the striker next summer as they believe it would be their final opportunity to cash on him.
Benzema will turn 29 later this month but Real still reportedly believe they could demand upwards of €50m for him. He’s netted 115 times in 226 La Liga games during his time in the Spanish capital.
Don Balon also claim that European heavyweights Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested. Arsene Wenger will have to pay big bucks for the forward who can add proven quality to the side.
