Mikel Arteta has Calum Chambers available for Sunday’s visit of Chelsea.

The defender served his one-match suspension as Arsenal came from behind to draw with Bournemouth on Boxing Day.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s 12th league goal of the season rescued a point for Arsenal, who had been in control for most of the Arteta’s first match in charge.

Other injury updates concern Gabriel Martinelli and Hector Bellerin who will be assessed, while Rob Holding and Dani Ceballos are likely absentees.

The Blues are currently occupying the final Champions League spot and sit eight points ahead of the Gunners.

Reece James and Marcos Alonso missed the defeat by Southampton, but the latter is more likely to be fit to play.

Chelsea’s away form has so far kept the Blues in the top four – Lampard will be keen to build on the club’s six wins so far away from the Bridge.

As for the Gunners, Arsenal are winless in six home matches in all competitions, their longest streak since an eight-game spell from December 1994 to February 1995.
