Unai Emery could provide Mesut Ozil just his second Premier League appearance of the season at home to Wolves.

The German impressed in his midweek return as Arsenal narrowly lost out to Liverpool on penalties after a thrilling 5-5 draw.

Emery has decided to proceed against Wolves without Granit Xhaka following last week’s acrimonious spat with the fans.

Xhaka trained with the Arsenal first team on Friday but the Gunners’ captain will not play any part on Saturday afternoon.

Reiss Nelson remains sidelined with a knee problem, while Joe Willock and Gabrielle Martinelli are knocking on the door for a minutes after good performances at Anfield.

While Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League, Wolves have slipped into the bottom-half of the table after drawing their last two games.
