Arsenal’s three best results of 2016/17

Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal – Saturday 19 November

It seems unusual for a draw to be considered in the top three most important results. However, the rescued draw away to Manchester United felt like a win.

Arsenal played very poorly at Old Trafford, yet again. After Ander Herrera put United in front, it looked as if Arsenal would keep up their appalling results away to top six clubs.

However Giroud popped up late on to head in and rescue a point. The result halted Man United’s momentum, left Mourinho distraught and continued Arsenal’s unbeaten run. Happy days.
