5. Olivier Giroud

After spending the majority of September and the first half of October on the bench, Olivier Giroud’s attitude and determination was impressive.

He came off the bench to score at Watford and against Bayern, before earning a place in the starting eleven and scoring against Everton. He then started in the terrible display against Sheffield Wednesday, but was largely isolated.

To cap it off, the Frenchman started and scored in the 3-0 win over Swansea. We should hope he remains in this form with Walcott out injured.
