Arriving in 1999 for £10.5m as a talented but unproven left-wing prospect from Juventus, Thierry Henry transformed under Wenger into our record goal scorer and our greatest ever player. His majestic skill on the ball, his pace, technique, class and ability to score wonder goals will forever be legendary.

He racked up 228 goals, two League titles and three FA Cups with us, and a player of his class is unlikely to be seen again in Premier League for a long time.

Gunners fans were overjoyed as he donned the Arsenal shirt again on loan from New York Red Bulls in 2012, scoring winning goals against Leeds at the Emirates and Sunderland away to add to his already iconic stature.
