Celtic have slapped a £25m asking-price on Arsenal target Odsonne Edouard, according to reports.

The French forward has been prolific north of the border and his form has alerted a host of Premier League clubs, most notably Arsenal.

Edouard record for the SPL champions tallies 27 goals and claiming 19 assists, meaning he has played a direct role in 46 goals in 45 matches.

A report by the Express claims, Spanish boss Mikel Arteta has been warned it would take in excess of the £25m that the Gunners spent to recruit Kieran Tierney from the Glasgow giants last summer.

But with Arsenal looking likely to sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the end of the season, the money could be reinvested in the acquisition fo Edouard.

Aubameyang looks set to leave the north Londoners after two-and-a-half years at the Emirates.

Arsenal are said to be ready to accept offers over £30m for the Gabon international.
