Transfer Deadline Day is now in full swing and Arsenal continue to be extremely active, having confirmed the sale of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool earlier today- a transfer that surprised nobody, given the circumstances of the past 24 hours.

Alexis Sanchez is another top player who continues to be linked with an exit, amidst reports that Manchester City are preparing a final offer worth £75m for the Chilean superstar, and Arsenal’s stance is that they will sell if they can find a replacement.

Reports state Arsenal are in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain’s Julian Draxler, although the German prefers to stay in the French capital and may take some persuading to move clubs again, and the Gunners are also said to be keeping tabs on Everton midfielder Ross Barkley.

That’s likely to be it for incoming deals, and it would certainly be a surprise if Arsenal were to land both players, but there’s certainly a lot of activity that could go on regarding outgoing deals- although Calum Chambers won’t be on of those on the way out, as it’s been state Arsenal have rejected a £20m offer from Leicester City for the England international.

Arsenal may struggle to complete permanent sales today and numerous loan moves have been mentioned, with Joel Campbell linked with a switch to Real Betis- having spent last season on-loan with Sporting Lisbon.

Lucas Perez is now being linked with a move to Everton, which could potentially be a part of negotiations for Barkley, and Jack Wilshere has been mentioned as a possible midfield target for West Ham should they miss out on prime-target William Carvalho.

Elsewhere, Chuba Akpom is also set to leave today- but a destination is unknown.
