Do you think Emery will get the club back on an upwards trajectory?

Jens Lehmann may be an interesting option for Sporting Director. As would Martin Keown.
I like Keown but he should be nowhere near our club in a capacity like this. Has licked Wengers backside to much and will be an even bigger puppet than what people think of Gazidas.

Lehman I think has also been a 'Wenger in' if I'm not mistaken? If so while I like the thought of the winning German mentality we need to have someone truly impartial who will not be influenced because of their friendship with Wenger.

I think the great majority of players, bar the usual suspect or two are all pro Wenger.

Evening Standard reporter (forgot name) said Wenger basically admitted to saying that kind of thing because he "has to say something different" in each press conference. In other words, he lies just to give an answer.

All managers lie all the time. It's one of the main parts of the job.

Actually both have been critical of the club in respectful ways. Also remember reading recently that Ian Wright said Keown was one of the only people to stand up to Wenger (when Keown was involved with the set-up). Apparently Wenger told him to shut up and that he talks too much.

But why the **** would they be Blue and White trax. Red and white are our colours.
Yeah, don't know why I said that tbh. Don't even wear pyjamas.

I do wear a Nike Arsenal zip-top to the gym. But it gets a bit tiring when the lads point to the badge and say you've got some sh*t on your jacket. I get them back though.

All of his former players would run through a brick wall for Wenger today. Even Vieira has defended him recently.

Vieira said Wenger is the best coach he's ever worked under. Come to think of it, Petit is the only ex-Arsenal player I've seen really draw Wenger out.

I get the impression that it's not his decision to make anymore. Ridiculous that it ever was.

It was never his decision, or even the board's decision. Wenger has already lost the mandate from his players, if he can't regain it he will leave us. If he has lost his own players what are the chances other top players will be impressed enough to want to join us?
