No Longer Sleeping in Theo's bed
It's pre-season, don't care when we win, don't care when we lose. Haven't had anything near a serious team out there for any of our games.

Thing is you just know at some point this season this exact scenario will pop up unless we address these issues.

A lot of you are calling for Lemar but he's not what we need, we need another midfielder. And I would rather buy a player who's had his best season as a midfielder for that position. Lemar is a winger, we can't spend 60 million on him and hope that he turns out to be a decent midfielder.

Maybe take a chance on Fabinho?

Amen to that. Although Fabinho will be even harder to get than Lemar. Him and Tielemans are expected to anchor Monaco CM this season.
We definitely need another midfielder though. That is crucial.

An empty victory really.

We look more dangerous in the 3421 but very open in the middle of the park. If we're going to play that system I think we need a more mobile CM option, which in all fairness most have been calling for for many a year.

All the same defensive issues still on display though and much of it is because we haven't had a great CM pairing for quite some time now.
Our CM is too ****ing mobile, when he's fit. He's never where he should be.

The stone that the builders refuse
Only Ox and Welbeck impressed in game 2. Brammal did okay too. The rest of the team looked poor.
Elneny was solid as was Nacho.

Bramnal doesn't offer anything as yet though.

Özil was disappointing - I guess they were right, he doesn't turn up for the big games.

Rambo was good - looks fit & ready.
