Yeah, I'm not Özil's biggest supporter but some of these "fans" were doing it to Ramsey now some are saying he's one of the best players we've had this decade. Walcott was also torn to shreds despite being one of the most productive wingers in the league.
You put a quotation mark around fans as to say they arent good ones in being fed up of Özil. I dont know why you're grouping him Ramsey and Theo into the same bracket too like everyone who is fed up of Özil hated Ramsey and Walcott...

At every club (especially underperforming ones) theres going to be players that are singled out. Sometimes its scapegoating and sometimes its the harsh reality. Walcott got stick because he signed a big contract and was quite poor after, but like Iwobi and Giroud he got the brunt of it because Arsenal werent signing adequate forwards to play instead or around him.

Ramsey was an elite professional for us who picked up his performances even after he was confirmed to be leaving (compare that to Eriksen at Sp**s). He shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence as Özil when talking about commitment to a team.

The difference in 13/14 was 7 points though, you'd have to think that a better striker would've been able to make the difference to bridge that gap. Likewise in 15/16 attack was the problem, the team conceded the fewest goals in the league but didn't score enough despite having Özil/Alexis/Cazorla/Ramsey all in their prime.

We did not win the title between 2013-2016 mainly because of injuries and negative media

If we judge the Kroenkes correctly they will never forgive Özil for this. Messing up one of their revenue streams and potentially hurting the bottom line long term is probably the only way you can get a reaction out of Silent Stan.

No longer a fan of Özil on the pitch, but he has all the right in the world to speak up for oppressed people like the Uighurs. If the club want to distance themselves it would have been enough just to say that Özil's comments are his own personal ones, that he has a right to voice them and left it with that.

15/16 was such a weird season. All the big clubs were in complete disarray and I’m pretty sure Leicester won it with one of the lowest GDs ever.

We bottled it during the run in along with Sp**s. Remember back to back defeats at Old Trafford and home to Swansea after we’d beaten Leicester in the last minute.

You’re right though it always felt like there was one or two missing pieces. Thinking about where Liverpool were then and where they are now shows what can be done when acting decisively with a plan.

We never had the mentality to win the league and all our players end up injured anyway. Arsenal fans always act like we’re 1 or 2
Players away from success but that’s just simplifyling it. We were always prone to a collpase and guys like Özil & Santi never score and Ramsey is average tbh he was too injury prone to rely on.

Özil lives rent-free in my head
real pity cuz if Arsenal got a pound for each of these keyboard warriors, they would have enough to buy out his contract.
The pure irony of people criticising keyboard warriors and lifelong Arsenal fans for being upset with the overpaid footballer. A man with a questionable football attitude and a complete vacuum of football warrior mentality for putting his energy into being wait for it..... a key board warrior. He should shut up and play football but he won't because he has nothing to offer Arsenal anymore apart from aggro and laziness.

Seems like the Chinese Foriegn Ministry has reacted way better than AFC has:

Geng Shuang, a spokesman for China’s foreign ministry said the athlete should come to Xinjiang and “have a look”.

“As long as he has common sense, can make a clear distinction between right and wrong, and upholds the principles of objectivity and fairness, he will see a different Xinjiang,” Geng said at a regular press briefing on Monday afternoon.

stil better than everyone else we have, bar maybe ESR.

He's been one of our better players, and was among the better players against $ity.

But you wouldn't care about that. All you can see is his wages.

Ramsey got torn to shreds. People are still chatting **** too, it was only in August people were genuinely saying Willock is already better. That's how clueless it is sometimes.

Özil was always decent enough to remain an Arsenal player. Iwobi and Giroud there was question marks because of our style of play.

I love Özil, he was a joy to watch between 2009-2014, but since then it has been a downward trajectory.

For his legacy it would’ve been better for him to leave the EPL and go to a slower paced league.

My man is done at the top level there is no denying that.

Arsenal fans love their ifs and maybes. Lacazette and Aubameyang would have done nothing to stop us from collapsing. They're no better than Giroud and Alexis. Maybe if Özil could score goals himself then we wouldn't have to rely on one striker so much.
We didn't even have Alexis in 13/14...

Arsenal Quotes

There is no chance of Sol ever leaving for Arsenal. He is a Spurs fan and there is not a hope in hell of him playing in an Arsenal shirt.
