Lacazette is important to the team tactically, Abuameyang up top has looked isolated in the past and he can't hold the ball up.

Defensively and our discipline in midfield we were getting outplayed everytime conceding at least 20 shots a game. Offensively you can't do nothing about it if your players aren't clinical

One of the most unbalanced squads ever, so little technical quality in most of our players...have seen an improvement overall, but until we get better players, isn't much more Mikel can do when our poor defenders keep making mistakes or our strikers miss a hundred chances when we are on top.

Squad needs serious investment to even get back in the top four.

Can't get our how bad our attack is ffs. No matter which way we turn in around with lineups and formations, it's simply poor in every way.

Play 4231, you get Auba wide, Martinelli, who's poor on the ball aside from a couple of goals, Özil who has no end product, Laca, who's just ****.

Play 433, and you get to play 3 of Xhaka, Torreira, Guendozi or Ceballos, all whom contribute **** all with end product... even worse you'd have to then play 3 in attack of Auba, Laca, Martinelli and Pepe - all of whom are rancid on the ball.

We actually play with a midfield hence not conceding a silly amount of shots at our goal
We actually show fight again, hence the two performances when down to 10 man against palace and chelsea
We are better at passing it out from the back even though sill poor at it and it wasnt too hard to improve from emery
Players actually know how to positions themselves better

No one is saying we are good but to say we have not improved from Emery is a god awful take and makes you look rather stupid tbh

I get the feeling he's playing how he wants to play and hopes we can recruit to improve rather than playing the way to get the best out of the current squad.

What does this tell you? That Laca and Mesut are still the best starters despite their lack of form.
