Yes I remember someone telling me his confidence was be irreparably harmed if he came on and made a mistake.
I actually wanted to reference this, so silly

What’s funny is that Arteta tends to learn from some of his mistakes and/or admit he’s been wrong about things that the fanbase will blindly defend him for. This is another example

Mikel clearly felt a bit of pressure and realised he’s been a bit too cautious with the youth. He should have done this in the CL, hopefully we see more of Ethan going forwards, doesn’t have to be when the game is done either.

Amazing that Havertz still can’t do anything in a game where the opposition gave up 50 minutes ago

You can't have watched this game very closely then. Him and Tross were integral to us carving them open time and time again.

Havertz still get criticized even at 6-0 lol.

I think he was decent today but not convinced yet as midfielder

God, seems like so long ago. Kid also looks so ahead phisically that the excuses of him being 16 (he's almost 17) also sound so funny.

The kid is ready for minutes in games that were looking comfortable.

Agree with this, while Arteta might appear stubborn on many things think there are clear examples of him admitting he was going in the wrong direction and changing the course.

Arsenal Quotes

The biggest things in life have been achieved by people who, at the start, we would have judged crazy. And yet if they had not had these crazy ideas the world would have been more stupid.
