What even is that post? 🤣🤣🤣

In a long time? When have they ever been elite?

Ange is no more special than Conte or Mourinho.

So United and Chelsea just need new structure and a proper manager. Noted. 📝
All @SA Gunner needs to see is a couple of forward passes under a new manager and he's predicting a renaissance.

Even by Garth Crooks standards his write up about Ben White in the 'Team of the Week' was pretty gross

Ben White (Arsenal): Brentford boss Thomas Frank was absolutely right. Kai Havertz had no right to be on the pitch when he scored the winner in Arsenal's 2-1 win over Brentford. The Germany international, having received a caution for throwing his elbow, elected to dive in the Brentford penalty area in order to try to seek a clear advantage. However, what was more troubling was that referee Robert Jones refused to do anything about it, even though the Brentford defenders were waving an imaginary card in the air in an attempt to bring the incident to his attention.

For Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta to then glorify the "manner of the win" in his post-match interview, having seen him gloating with Havertz at the end of the game, was a poor advert and only served to rub salt in Brentford's wounds.

Fortunately for Arsenal, White was on hand to play a pivotal role in Arsenal's victory over the Bees. Two beautifully floated crosses provided excellent assists in what was otherwise a rather grubby affair by the Gunners. If Arsenal are going to win the title please don't win it like this.

Such a bitter prick. And in real life too, having met and observed him at an event.

Absolutely, whoever edits his piece for the BBC should have pulled that.

Crooksy conveniently forgot the previous 5-6 games where we played beautiful football and blew our opponents off the park.

I see there's a narrative building that they could catch and overtake us before season's end. They predict that they could be 5 points behind us if we lose the City game and they win all theirs.

Then when they win the NLD its going to be 2 points behind and all to play for they say.

Interesting way to look at things, didnt think that could be possible, but hey... you have to respect their belief in Angeball.

Why do Sp**s fans and players act like playing good football and being happy, can't also go with being mentally tough and winning things?

Arsène literally did this before the Emirates move shackled him, tbh.

Sp**s fans in particular should know this better than anyone, ffs... Arsenal played some of the best football ever seen, and won the league at you ground in 2004...you can do both you cu3ks!

"We lost a match, but won in life"

...what a totally embarrassing thing to say, if any of our players said that I would want him sold IMMEDIATELY!!!

There is a lot of talk about Sp**s in the media, how they play such lovely attacking football, and yet.......we have scored 11 more goals than them this season in the league already.

What makes it far more impressive is they score goals by being hung ho and leaving giant holes at the back while we are rock solid, 16 goals less conceded.

You have to remember that for whatever reason the Spuds are graded on a curve. It's not really an impressive thing for an adult to know the alphabet but for a school aged Scouser, it's miraculous and that's basically the way the Spuds are appraised. They're such routine failures that people conjure successes for them that nobody with standards and a trophy case not riddled with cobwebs would even register as praiseworthy.
