This would be more in reference to next summer, but what about Oriol Romeu? Can play CB and DM. Good on the ball, good height and quick enough. Hasn't really worked out at Chelsea, but I think he could work under Wenger.

Sell Özil and go get a player who actually is top notch on the LW (And RW and CF and CAM) in Marco Reus. We'd actually make money given what we could get for Özil vs What Reus' RC will be. He has the ability to destroy top quality teams on his own (see games vs Madrid in CL last two seasons) He works his socks off and and he would be perfect for pressing from the front along with Sanchez as he does for Dortmund currently.

Promote Chambers to DM as he apparently played there growing up. Also seeing as we clearly arent going to go and buy one we might as well make one. Tell him England needs a top young DM so he's be even more wxcited about taking his chance and locking down the spot for club and country for years to come.

Make Per 3rd choice and go out and use the extra Özil money to give Madrid an offer they cant refuse for Varane. Per is simply too slow to play the way we want to and he is only going to get slower. We need to look to the future. Let Per teach his positioning know how to Raphaël and we will have the perfect CB (and perfect CB pairing with Kos).

Hope Marco wasn't watching the game last night

If we went and got Varane and Bender in January I would be very happy with the strength and depth of our squad.

They would be key improvement where we need them.

So Delph is out of contract soon. Think he would be a decent pick up.

There are a number of players who could add depth who are going to be out of contract in the summer - Schar, Milner, Delph, Gignac, Khedira, Giovinco, Rabiot.

Arteta and Flamini out with Khedira and Delph in would be some upgrade. Schar would be a great addition unless we're going for a world class CB.

It appears that Southampton's board blocked us having talks with Schneiderlin this summer because they felt him leaving would be a tipping point in losing their fans completely. I would consider going back in for him in January when perhaps Southampton's board will feel they can sell him after their fans can see they are safe from relegation, spending £20-25m if required, and he is a HG player that is also not CL cup tied. This is on the back of seeing him more at the start of the season. However, that's me, and AW has his own ideas.

Milner stands out from that list, a top player for me, been one if city's best big game players in the last year or so too.

Don't know much about Schar, don't rate Gignac and Giovinco, while Rabiot is too inexperienced, think we need ready made for that Arteta replacement.

but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
Not that we need to be cutting corners but Delph, Rabiot, Milner or Khedira on a free or low fee would be superb business. The first 2 could play champions league.

Think it's time for Poldi to go. Good man for the handy home games but can't stand watching him - lazy bastard. Seems happy to coast.

Rosicky & Diaby are taking up two more spots aswell.

Watching Lyon right now, we should have a look at Umtiti, guy is an absolute animal of a CB. Really strong in the tackle, quite quick and isn't scared of the ball.

Watching the just how much fight and heart Sanchez has in comparison to the rest of the team makes me really want to go out and spend whatever it takes to get another fighting Chilean in Vidal.

Vidal--Ramsey

---Özil

The defensive output of the pair of Ramsey and Vidal would more then make up for Özil in the middle and when they click we would have one of, if not THE, best midfields in the world.

He can do it all ability wise and he has the heart of a lion. Perfect midfielder for us.

Arsenal Quotes

My first ever football memory was Charlie George's double winning goal in 71. After that game; I just became an Arsenal fan.
