I’m fairly certain our net spend won’t be much more than £50m this summer, I’d love to be wrong though!

Even if we raised 30-40m could happen depends how serious we are.

Transfer fees and transfer budgets literally become irrelevant when said club pays in instalments.

Like in theory we could spend £200M this summer on 4 players but only have to shell out 50-70m of it this summer. The rest over a few years.

Probably why city and co get their men more often than not, they’re more willing to spunk more money up front than the rest. And obviously wages is a factor.
