Yep.

Ronaldo's billed as the ultimate pro doing sit-ups at 3am in his bedroom, but he's also had a thing for paying high class escorts/models for sex regularly. Not knocking it, dabbled in it myself on the odd occasion :lol:but regardless of charity work or PR nobody really knows what even the quietest and most model pro's do behind closed doors.

Jermaine Pennant went out night before the Southampton game, got drunk, took a girl home, up all night, turned up to the game still drunk/hungover expecting to be at most be on the bench and he started and scored a first half hat-trick. Ashley Cole also lived a similar lifestyle and he was consistently unbelievable!

Yeah Ronaldo welcomed Nani and Anderson to Manchester with a couple of escorts and a large Jacuzzi:lol:. I got no problem with it , much safer way for them to go that route than go out and pull at a club .

Didn't know that about Cole , he was so driven and competitive. Then again Giroud got caught the night before an away match too

Yeah, I think Cole was up there. I remember hearing stories about him a lot when he was younger. Always out in the clubs, with girls etc....crazy thing is the guy was so consistent and always on top of his game....I can hardly remember a bad game or a mistake he made. Unbelievable player.

Yeah you know there's something a bit twisted in his head .

Its the ultimate betrayal, totally abhorrent, but they were at it for 8 freaking years ..... didn't stop when she married his bro, didnt stop when she had kids, plus she let the brother find out through the goddamn newspaper.

In Giggs mind, he probably twisted it round that she never fully belonged to his brother. Just speculating.

In all honesty thought he would be Captain , just as big a loss to lose him as Vieira from a leadership point of view imo .

Might be a more relevant place to mention it but given what they've said about Özil, some of you might be interested in what Hoeness and co at Munich said in a press conference today.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45915862 is an article giving the gist of it, but there also seems to be various parts where they was asked specifically about their treatment of Özil (and some other players also).

That is typical Bayern ****ery. Demanding respect towards them but going out in a cringy presser behaving like entitled twits and being disrespectful to most anyone out there - just cause the media said their squad was old and small.

And regarding the Özil thing and Uli slagging off other players: Doing it, then apologizing or putting it into perspective on a non public personal level doesn’t make it better. If all this confirms his feeling of entitlement to being allowed to do **** and be continually forgiven. same goes for his tax evasion and prison time.

I'm struggling to honestly justify the contract and wages we gave him back in February. He's now 30, it's not like we were tying down a player about to enter his peak years, his prime could be over. You look at the way Iwobi's been affecting games recently and you think Özil's got to at least be putting in those type of performances regularly, at the very least. The fact that we can't guarantee that tells me that we've made a massive mistake with his contract.

I also feel that this isn't the same Özil as 2013-2016, the last 2 calendar years his level has dipped dramatically. Ever since the second half of the 16/17 season. Only really Liverpool at home last is the last big performance we've really seen from him.

I won't give up though, the talent is still there, let's hope Emery can squeeze every bit of talent out of him over the next few seasons but most importantly over the course of this season.

STFU.

Captain’s armband is doing him the world of good. Keep going my sweet prince, this is what we all see in you.

Someone said recently that he may lose motivation by not being involved for Germany. I have a feeling it was Wenger. Tonight was the answer!

I thought he might be one of those players that improve under Emery. I suspect one of the main reasons has been that our team movement in now more planned and coordinated, thus Özil has a better idea about what he might do next. Even artists needs some shape to work with.

He was majestic today.

Arsenal Quotes

It’s not impossible to go through a season unbeaten and I can’t see why it’s shocking to say that.

Arsène Wenger, 2 years before the Invincibles completed the unbeaten league season
