To be honest, I am not a big fan of Elneny either. But when it comes to midfield pairing, Ceballos-Elneny is a much more balanced combination than Ceballos-Xhaka or Xhaka-Elneny. Having Elneny behind, gives Ceballos the license to move forward without worrying about the defense being exposed.

Auba really made it seem like we were doing something.

In reality he just wanted that Özil like bank account.

Not sure who's idea the whole isolate Özil and Guen in hope we get two very very expesnive transfer targets but it was f*cking stupid.

We wanted Aouar and/or Partey, but we got Elneny. He is like a new signing. I have nothing against him, but he has no business starting/being main midfielder in a team like Arsenal. He can be useful squad player but nothing more.

Arteta has said publicly that Nketiah isn't behind Lacazette. No reason he would be as he scores as much

Of course, and he will rotate. Also he has no sure starters, choices are based on training & performances & tactics.

Only thing I'd really change is Xhaka for Elneny, but Xhaka has been poor recently. I'm not sure if Elneny is gonna be an improvement in terms of playing out from the back when pressed but it's worth giving it a shot.
