laca is playing 9 then 8 because the midfield is asked to do too much . There is so much space between the midfield and the attack. I understand that you would like that in order to give our attackers a chance to have one on ones with the opposing team... but...that's not even happening

Agreed. Not enough though. Both Xhaka and Ceballos in midfield is not ideal in terms of athleticism.
