De Jong would be an excellent addition, but about as likely as Ricky Gervais turning out on our left flank.

You do realize that Gervinho's real name is Gervais, right? Seems like we will be having Gervais on our left flank sooner rather than later

I would love this — De Rossi and Mata are my choices to replace Cesc and Nasri as well. But why on earth is Enrique in your second XI? He's miles better and more experienced than Gibbs.

Have a feeling Gibbs is in for a big season and could give us real spark on the left flank. Obviously if it turns out he isn't good enough we can bring in Enrique

Fabianski had a better season for me. Not completely sold on Szczesny yet, don't think he's as good as the hype he gets.
Szczesny gets my vote for number one purely because I've never seen him actually throw the ball into his own net à la Fabianski at Porto.

Szczesny has a LONG way to go if you ask me.

Would definitely like to have a solid, experienced GK as competition. Maybe what Almunia was supposed to be.

Fabianski is more of a complete package then Szczesny. Or at least that's what we saw last season! Can't be sure who'd turn up though, flappianski or fabulanski. You do feel that mad shez has more potential and also, he's improving all the time. Much work needs to be done on distribution even though he has improved that aspect since we first saw him.

Sneezy certainly has the potential to be WC.. he's young, confident and talented.. he's got things he needs to work on though...

Honestly, I think Fabianski has all the tools too, he just needed a run of games to get settled.. Fabianski was highly rated as well when he left Warsaw, but had to rot behind Failmunia for 3 years.. personally, its not hard to imagine how much better of a keeper he'd be now if he was given the gloves when Jens left instead of Manu.. i mean, sh*t, its not like we won anything those 3 years anyway, what was the harm in blooding in someone who was clearly more talented then Average Al?

Sign Vertonghen AND Stekelenberg from Ajax - both are in the same position as Nasri & Cahill re their current contracts, and both have supposedly indicated they are prepared to move.

I still want a starting quality LB, holding midfielder & central striker coverage for RVP.

I'm not entirely sold on Szczesny, either.
