You can just see Wenger telling us we don't need new players because Nasri is returning, he can play winger, attacker, defensive mimdfielder...

Still no new on Vela. I remember that ESPN report which said he suffered a recurrence of the ankle injury and will be out for 3 months. I think a press conference was called before the Haiti game saying he was fit to play , but then there was no sign of him in the sqaud for that match.

Something not quite right there. It could mean that we will be without Nasri and Vela for 3 months.

Sell diaby ....

Right, Diaby probably broke Nasri's leg in order to play more at LM where he just loves to play. He is also responsible for injuring Tomas again and again every time he was about to make a comeback. If I were Arshavin, I would watchout for him.

Normal service has resumed from the looks of it.

Eduardo is out for 2 months, as well.

What is wrong with us? :(

I think its because of the interview Wenger gave, he said something like "In 2 months we will have Eduardo also" or something. I dont think he meant he is out for 2 months though...

I hope it was a mistake by Arsène because he said Nasri will have recovered in three weeks and edu will be back in 2 months.

Yeah, this is what I think that blog was referencing. I think Wenger was just referring to the slow rehabilitation ahead of Eduardo, and that he will be back to full fitness in a couple of months, but isn't ready yet. Phew!

I think Wenger was misunderstood. He didn't actually say Eduardo was out injured, did he?

Dont really know what this means, fully fit in 2 months or 2 months until he can start to play etc

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.sport.co.uk/news/Football/23731/Wenger_Eduardo_expected_back_in_two_months.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.sport.co.uk/news/Football/23 ... onths.aspx</a>"

I remember reading an article about Eduardo possibly playing in one of the Austrian friendlies coming up

<a class="postlink" href="http://arsenalanalysis.blogspot.com/2009/07/arsenal-very-pleased-with-eduardos.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://arsenalanalysis.blogspot.com/200 ... ardos.html</a>"

I hope not.

The rate we're getting injuries at the moment, our title challenge could be over before Eduardo comes back, and Wenger will be out of a job by Christmas!

Ok, you can watch the interview on ATVO.

Here's how it reads:

With regards to covering Samir Nasri's position:

AW: The options are Tomas Rosicky is back and in the next two months Eduardo back as well, so we have offensive options, but you do not want to lose important players before the season starts.

Arsenal Quotes

I knew we were very different, that he (Ferguson) had a total hold over his club while at that time I was still more of a coach. I also recognised his huge qualities. He knew how to surround himself with the right people and didn't rest on his laurels when he was successful.
