Alisher Usmanov may repropose rights issue

Yeah, the no/limited money excuse just won't work this summer, not just because of the sale of Kolo and Ade, but the board also went to a lot of trouble to prove they didn't need money from the rights issue, its time to prove it.

It's time for Wenger to prove it. And this blame the board nonsense just needs to stop. Uzi and his friends in the bought and paid for press and hired internet moles know who the easy target is. It's much safer for them to go after the board than point the finger straight at Wenger.

The board agreed to pay these players that he's identified as what we need to achieve our objectives some of the highest wages in world football. The wage bill is over 100m. Strict wage structure my ass. It's more like we don't pay whore wages like Chelsea and Man City, but to suggest we can't compete on wages is another slimy tactic to deflect.

Even the most financially ignorant board critics claim we break even every year and that's the primary objective. Okay let's put facts aside and say we need to break even then ... that would still give him 40+m to work with. If he can't spend 40m what would he do with 100m, because it can't go to paying off debts.

Ultimately its the boards fault either way.

What does this mean?

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.arsenalnewsreview.co.uk/index.php?mact=News,cntnt01,detail,0&cntnt01articleid=1343&cntnt01origid=30&cntnt01returnid=42" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.arsenalnewsreview.co.uk/inde ... eturnid=42</a>

Apart from that Myles has been chasing the dragon again...

If it's true, my bet is DD.

Wow. I think all this summer has been is a big get Arsenal lean for a takeover.

Get it done ASAP. Then MAKE Wenger buy a WC DM.

That someone (he didn't say who) had agreed to buy Lady Nina's shares, and that whoever it was was friends with R&W (though from the wording, it suggested that it was someone associated with them, but not R&W themselves).

I reckon it could be Dein.

So Myles took it down .. that's a strange move.

I did see it. I guess it was just his usual musings ... still he was right about Kolo so ... ?

That's just a case of him throwing barrowloads of **** at a wall and eventually seeing some of it stick.

I'd love to see Dein has some influence again. He was the opposite side of the table regarding the sole dependence on the youth policy and as a fan, trophies were always a priority for him. It's time to get some more goal orientated people on the board and it would be a nice balance between new board and old board (with influence).

Dein is a backstabbing ****.

Regarding Pyles, either he actually did have some inside-info, and was asked to take the piece down, or he just took it down for the fun of it, so people would believe the former.

A - ha.

I still say that the biggest thing to happen to Arsenal this summer (no not bloody Chamakh) will be the takeover.

Another article here. Seems it's boardroom war time: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/arsenal/5979512/David-Dein-and-Lady-Bracewell-Smith-round-on-Arsenal-board.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... board.html</a>
