but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
why do you think we can't get rid of the likes of JD, Squillaci, Park, Chamakh, Arshavin, Santos, Bendtner etc????

because we are too fricking soft.

Soft how? You can't just cancel a contract without paying it off. We gave them ridiculous contracts that no small club is willing to touch. That was our big mistake and now that we apparently have money I hope we don't sign such dross again.

If you were a player who is being paid twice or thrice what you're worth, and you're not a very good footballer the smart decision would be to sit on the contract and ride it out. It's exactly what their advisers would tell them. I know if I was a sh*t as Squillaci I'd run my final two years out too. A player's career is very short and they'll try to make the most out of it.

We just have to make sure we don't give out such contracts again.

Apparently, the Brazilian window closes on the 20th of this month.

If there's genuine interest from Flamengo expect it to be done soon.

Lancenet says Flamengo bought 50% of Andre Santos rights. He signed a two year deal with the club.

so it could be a 2 years loan?

Looks like it's a transfer and not a loan.

Too bad it didn't work out for him, hopefully he will stay in Brazil and enjoy his football there. He is a good gay.

André Santos managed to cancel his contract with Arsenal, despite early reports that he would join Flamengo on a one-year loan deal. The left-back will own 50% of his own rights, while Flamengo will own the rest.

We should see if TGSTEL would be interested in a similar deal.
