David Beckham: Problem.

Our money making captain is becoming a liability in his responsibilities. Therefore, we should take some of this 'weight' off of his shoulders. Captaincy should go to Sol Campbell or Steven Gerrard, who know how to lead a team. Free Kicks should be shared between himself and Ashley Cole. Steven Gerrard or Wayne Rooney should take one of the Corner kicks.

haha, good one.

he's really a crap captain for England, he can't take penaltys, whens the last time he's scored from a free kick and really all he's good for is to look pretty. someone more commanding should be captain like sol or gerrard.

but we have sven the coward as the coach who will never drop or change anything. Coachs should play guys who are playing well not by reputation.

Just look at BIG PHIL yesterday. He took of FIGO who was playing crap again. FIGO'S face said it all.

2nd time BIG PHIL'S team have foiled SVEN.

Except for the missed penality, Becks didn't do anything different than ususal. Why do people want to complain now.

Has he been found out?

What was funny was that Joe Royle kept on insisting how great Becks is in the air, Becks would then consistently lose any aerial challenges with the Portugal rleft back. How thick is Joe Royle, its common knowledge that Becks is very poor at heading the ball.

behind rooney, beckham was england's second greatest attacking threat. consider the definiton of a 'flair' player. this player can turn a game with one pass, shot, dribble e.t.c Beckham is the closest thing, IMO, england have in midfield that can be considered as flair.

What a marvelous piece of timing - selling him to Real at just the right moment - he had nowhere to go but down!

i have been syaing it for years, beckham is a product of the british press, just like his wife.

he is a average player who played for a team that dominated the english league. Now he is at Real just for marketing.

I was watching this program on beckham trying to teach kids on how to play. all he did , just show kids how to pass a ball, nothing fanstatic. even i could have done that

when are people going to realise this dude is the most overrated player in history. ok, he is good at freekicks. big ****ing deal

you got to admit, **** fergie is a great manager... timing of his kicking out (or them leaving) of beckham, cole, yorke, teddy, stam has been pretty good.
he may be a bastard, chucking his players once theyre past theyre sell by date, but he guards his interests and his clubs very well.
