JUve are letting him go because he's 30 and they have Appiah.. not as good but strong fast and good enough.
Great signing for Barca.. if there was anyone who could bring some drive and bite to their play..its Davids.. i hope he does well for them, because then the team will also do well.

One things for sure - they have a hell of a squad in terms of talent. Misdirected? Yes.
Shame about their defence. One great defender (Puyol) isn't good enough.
Their front 6 is as good as anyones.

Yeah, Puyol is just about the best defender in the world IMO. But when you have a makeshift left-back in Van Bronckhorst they are not going to do to well.
Barcelona's team is very similar to the Dutch team IMO. The Dutch have a squad full of talent, near to the best attack and midfield in the world, but only really one great defender in Stam. The same goes for Barcelona.

Davids is a good signing for them as it adds abit of steel to their midfield.
What they really need is a few good defenders. Barca are really poor at defending, I find it amazing they want Henry or RvN but it is so obvious what their problem is. If they could bring in 2 quality defenders I think they could challenge for the la liga title. Knowing Laporta he will bring in a striker :roll:
