Vardy at the moment is better than Cavani. I'd even take Lacazette ahead of him in this form but obviously will start rationalizing if there was a serious possibility.

Arsenal Mania clueless as usual. Cavani is a clear upgrade on Giroud and comes with a steller scoring record at all levels.
Would be weird for him to leave now after spending all these years behind Ibra.

Yeah, he'd be an upgrade. He is more mobile and while Giroud is superb at defending set pieces Cavani is a bit of a Kante playing upfront. Striking ball winner/ball winning striker.
Wenger may revive his career as @FreakySami mentioned. Doubt there's much in this and PSG are unlikely to sell after Zlatan's departure.
