It’s a tough one. What do you do as a club if a new manager says I don’t rate a youngster you spent huge amounts on one bit? You can’t tell him play him because in England these things creates uproar. Rest of Europe a board would tell the manager make it work.

Haven't seen too much of him, but have heard from people that have seen a lot of him that he's a major talent. Strong, pacey, self-assured and composed defender, good aerial presence also.

I would be excited if it didn't come with the realization that signing him probably means Saliba is written off entirely without being given an opportunity because he has pretty much the exact same profile.
