If money is really so tight give this window a pass, play the youth & start a new long term plan.
Seems every window we are just scraping by with the budget maxed out.
Yeah if true this is what we should do.

You look back now at the couple of weeks with Özil renewal, Aubameyang signing & Micky / Alexis swap thinking what the **** was going on.
How could be outlay all that money 12 months ago but now be broke.
But even so we seem to be maxed out now just 12 months later. The activity in that window pretty much evened itself out. We got rid of Walcott, Sanchez, Giroud, Coquelin and Debuchy. Those wage savings and fees would’ve offset the outgoings.
I really don’t want another 30 year old with no resale value.
Wenger deserves the blame as much, if not more, than Gazidis. He was responsible for the transfer and squad building decisions which have landed us in this mess.
When Wenger was at his best who was in charge of transfers? David Dein.
Gazidis let Wenger take the reins on everything because it suited him. Guy was gutless.
7M a year... yikes.

Was it someone in AFTV that said that Kroenke is taking out some 4.5ish or more million out of the club per quarter?
We're collateral for his loans.

We made a profit on transfers that season. Don't let the club's propaganda fool you.

Yeah I read it somewhere too. The tight git only put a small % of his own money in to buy Usmanov's shares, the rest is loaned. No doubt the club is now repaying the loan. The club being used as collateral was always the worry, I have said for years that's why we have such large cash reserves, it makes borrowing easier.
