The stone that the builders refuse
The draw for the 3rd round is about to be made on BBC2

Hopefully we can get a sedate home draw for our 3rd round match as we have both Liverpool & Stoke away following FA Cup 3rd round (long) weekend (Jan 8th - 11th)

We have Liverpool (a) - Wed Jan 13th followed by our bete-noir Stoke (a) Jan 17th, oh followed by our other bete-noir, Chelsea (h) Sun. Jan 24th.

So it'd be nice if we could get some respite in the form of nice easy home draw.

Hoping we get Liverpool at home so we can beat them twice in quick succession.

Not unhappy with that home draw.

Both Liverpool and Stoke travel, fair enough

Damn January is going to be make or break, and without Coquelin too.

No real stand out ties. All the big clubs got off relatively scot-free.

I guess (if you call them a big club) the Sp*ddies have the toughest test in Leicester but they are at ****e Hart Lane.

Leicester have no respite for a while as they have to play many of the big guns in the league over the next 5 weeks & now the Sp*ds.

5 Premier League teams will definitely bite the dust on 3rd weekend.

Any possibilities for giant killing?

Yes, Chelsea have to face Leyton Orient or Scunthorpe!

They should do the same kind of draw for the CL. No pots or all kind of rules, just throw them all together and the first four are the first group, second four the second group, etc.

Would make things much more interesting.

Arsenal Quotes

I knew we were very different, that he (Ferguson) had a total hold over his club while at that time I was still more of a coach. I also recognised his huge qualities. He knew how to surround himself with the right people and didn't rest on his laurels when he was successful.
