Agree with this. Our squad is still too thin to really go for 3 competitions. Maybe two could just about manage, for example we get easy draws in EL and make some changes and really go for it from semi finals onwards.
Don't think this is a good example for why we should bin the FA Cup. Liverpool actually successfully went for 4 competitions. They didn't lose the league by 1 point because of that, in fact they picked up more league points when they had all these other cup games coming thick and fast.
The problem with going for multiple competitions is that it increases the likelihood of injuries and it saps your energy. Can't remember Liverpool missing important players near the end of the season and they definitely didn't seem low on intensity. It might have catched up with them this season, I don't know, but it didn't seem to hinder them at all last season.
They just came up short cos City were a machine in the league. Also they lost the CL final because Courtois produced one of the best goalkeepeeping performance in recent history and Real managed to convert basically their only big chance they had.
Why don’t you want us to win the FA Cup? Go to the Etihad and beat them, send a message that we’re coming for them.

Title over everything. Unlike Arteta, I don’t believe Saka can play 70 games. You saw United in the last 20 minutes, they were dead on their feet after playing palace mid week.

There’s 8 days between City and Everton.
Trossard maybe plays instead of Martinelli, otherwise it will be the same team as usual. There's a longish gap between this game and the next league game so there's no point resting players. Psychologically you don't want to be getting thrashed by them either.
