I think you guys are surprised AMN doesn’t start over sokratis, because you think 1 player per position is interchangeable and there isn’t a full pitch picture that Arteta is trying to manage. Socratis and AMN are very different players. Maybe sokratis is in to give strength in set pieces? Or maybe it’s more complicated than that? It’s not always as easy as,” oh he isn’t starting, manager must not like him”.

Part of me thinks this might be Arteta's way of telling him to fully commit to being a RB or he just won't be involved.
