Reeling from Laca & Kos nightmares
This is typical Man Utd, hyping a big name just to end up flopping. This guy is just another Van Gaal.
But he's gone to United for 6 months. This has flop written all over it.He's a "give me the reigns or else" type, which doesn't fly for most big clubs. It's mostly clubs who are looking for a development job that go after him.
He's also a bit of a Bielsa-like figure. Coach of the coaches type thing.
Just like Biesla everyone hyped him but he’s at Leeds and has won f all in his career. If this guy's so good why is the best club he's managed Lucozade Leipzig? I mean, he's 63 and he's been stuck at nothing clubs.
It's a weird gig for Rangnick, for sure. Stepping out of his comfort zone. Probably saw this as a can't miss opportunity to manage a giant. But he's gone to United for 6 months. This has flop written all over it.
And Leeds are going backwards.Just like Biesla everyone hyped him but he’s at Leeds and has won f all in his career.
He's leaving at the end of the year
Bielsa is a tactical genius by all accounts, but he's too uncompromising for most clubs and lacks the communication skills required for higher level management.Just like Biesla everyone hyped him but he’s at Leeds and has won f all in his career.
I think this might end up being the route for United, too. Rangnick manages for 6 months, then replaces Woodward.Rangnick is not manager he more suited in DOF rule that could build your team. That's why he asked manutd about more of scouting/director role in last 12 years he only managed Leipzig for few years.
@Toby Andrl going to Redcafe as we speak.
Isn’t anyone better than Edu who can’t sell players? The only two he managed to sell is because Martinez had a brilliant spell for us and Willock hit a purple patch on loan and the Newcastle fans demanded he was signed.Nah I’ve read about him and @Toby Andrl ‘s endorsement is enough for me.
His work with Red Bull alone is hugely impressive. No way this guy isn’t better than Edu.
Posted this yesterday. FFS.Hope they don't hire Rangnick, I still retain hope that we hire him as DOF at some point.
Why wouldn't he want to be manager full time?
Yes they need to go to different role they seeing how far they slipping in that regardBielsa is a tactical genius by all accounts, but he's too uncompromising for most clubs and lacks the communication skills required for higher level management.

Reckon GDeep will be a fan:Won’t form an opinion until I know what @GDeep™ thinks.
He has more ambitions to support the bigger picture of the club. It's a good gig for him especially as he's able to get a taste for the role before moving on to the role upstairs.
