Defenders under 6'2 should not be up for consideration.
Spot on, how many times do we need to see a midget flop for us at CB?

The PL isn’t la liga with its midgets.

Kompany, Laporte
Gomez, Van Dijk
Rudiger, Luiz
Alderweireld, Vertonghen

No midgets allowed.

Just pull the trigger. This is the type of CB we should be looking for!

You’d ideally want to pair him with a brick sh*thouse so he may struggle year one but there’s so much to like about his game that for the quoted price it’s a savvy buy.

What is with peoples weird fascination with height?

So apart from from ignoring the likes Baresi, Moore Beckenbauer and Canavarro, four of the best CBs of all time being under 6'0.

Concentrating on the PL
Toure 5'10
Gallas 5'10
Kos 6'1
Carvalho 6'0
Southgate 6'0
Berg 6'0

Two of the most physical CBs in PL history in Campbell and Terry are only 1 inch taller than Hermoso.

Saliva. Not quite brick **** house but he seems powerful enough yet composed.

Most likely a non story, can't see him wanting us over the other clubs that are likely to be interested in him.

Look at the heights of the CB partner & DM infront. I would guess in most cases one is a bigger guy to balance it out. We have a tiny DM, an undersized group of CBs & average sized FBs.

Who the hell is Berg? Obviously better than Ramsey and Bellerin but who?

A short but physical and most importantly a very talented DCM. Sokratis and Kola are physical players too.

Look at Chelsa 97 FA cup winning team, one of most entertaining sides in the PL history . They were hardly pushed around in midfield with the tough 5'5 Wise, his midfield partners were all under 6'0 in Newton and Di matteo. whom was protecting a back 3 all 6'0 and under in Lebouef Sinclair and Clark. That was back then when football was much more physical than it is now.

Arsenal Quotes

I was receiving offers from many other clubs and declining them all, even the most tempting ones. Juventus, Real Madrid, PSG contacted me, Bayern, France, England...I am happy to have been able to say no to more glory, more money, and to have been guided only by the idea of loyally serving the club. I had knitted myself a soul in Red and White.
