Wenger still a big part of him signing speaks volumes, you can claim he's lazy and in a comfort zone but that'd be bollocks given his recent form. Let's hope that continues

With one minor difference. Özil is great at his job and the talk about him is pure blind bias and ignorance, while Wenger is demonstrably ****e at his job and has been for quite a few years, and every criticism thrown at him is completely valid.
It also means Wenger will most likely not leave at the end of the season.
Listening to talksport yesterday and they had a american stat guy on. Talk sport being talk sport were slating Özil, calling him useless/hasnt won them the premier league. So the american guy started by saying ozils stats were very good, the host then said well where was Özil when bayern were thumping arsenal last season. The american presenter then replies "Özil is not a cb". Had to chuckle to myself.

This is Mesut Özil's team now. We are finally getting in players in Mkhi and Auba to compliment him. Hopefully we continue clearing the dross and build a better side around him. One of the best players in the world and he's spending most of his career at Arsenal.

Not that much time to build though. Özil is turning 29, Mkhi and PEA are both 28. We need to get our transfers spot on next summer.
