Why do we have this?
They must be planning a clear out surely.
Sokratis and Chambers or Holding surely will be sold. Mustafi if we got an offer

Lequipe saying Emery isn’t wanted by any big clubs, will have to take a step back.

Don't know what goes on at training but wonder how much of an influence Steve Round has on the defence. Everton were always a relatively solid team defensively when he was there with Moyes. The facts I have any kind of confidence in this team keeping clean sheets is testament to Arteta's ability to organise and provide structure given the defenders we have.

Steve Round has a really strong reputation in England, worked with a lot of the more defensive minded managers. Allardyce said he tended to liaise with everyone from the analysts to the sports scientists, so I'd imagine his coaching approach is relatively fluid based on the information he receives. Seems to be a really important acquisition for Arteta - that said, Arteta has to make sure that they don't fall into the trap of getting stale and might need a couple extra faces in that coaching group within the next few seasons (assuming he's still here, which I believe he will be).Don't know what goes on at training but wonder how much of an influence Steve Round has on the defence. indeed - and probably explains why Xhaka and Mustafi are playing so much betterHaha, that's a diss on our fans.
Think the first manager coming in after Wenger was always going to struggle. That Emery’s lack of English skills made a difficult situation worse. With Emery it was clearly a communication issue more than anything and the anxiety kept building on leading to a complete breakdown. Emery was just not right for Arsenal but you can also accept his first season was a success to previous seasons while most of the players were **** to begin with and still are. We aren't all that great or worse bar some emergence of young who ironically were pushed ahead by Emery while Arteta's familiarity and communication has helped him put through his plan with the players.
People pretending it's a night and day difference are a bit off.
Think Arteta personally wants him to extend
Bum licking the manager to stay in the team after Leno gets fit. I see through you Emi.
