I was thinking about this guy as a potential Giroud replacement. Celtic would take £35M all day long.

Usually I'd say it's too steep for someone like Dembele, but what's £35M nowadays?

Perfect young player to get as a backup striker, played in the CL and has lots of experience for someone his age. He hasn't done it in a big league but that's not his fault, he's succeeded at the level available to him.

Most importantly he has the @bingobob seal of approval.:D

Is this thread all based on the Daily Star? I would be happy to bring Dembele in but need some better links.

First off all let me shoot this down,
And take you with my poetry town.

It is very rude to talk about off-topic with no link,
Much less on other player' thread' brink.

Hope that you know that Schick' medical wasn 't cleared,
It is a flaw of the heart and that should be feared.

I am gonna let you go with a pass,
On this serious topic I 'll make sure that I don 't talk out of my ass.

Patrick Schick should clear his medical,
Playing him and risking his life would unethical.

In football a lot of times medicals aren 't done decent,
To show you an example I 'll point out a few that maybe aren 't recent.

In my town you 'd only have to get a signature from the doctor or a surgeon,
You were then cleared and even though you breathe in the sun like a sturgeon.

That was how things before went ahead,
Until a coach during practice dropped dead.

Unfortunately that was needed to make people aware,
That athletes should be tested and have health problems and we should care.

Another, better example is the Ajax' Nuri,
My heart goes out to him and hope he can all his problems bury.

I 've got another example, Ivan Turina, who thought he was okay,
Unexpectedly in Sweden he passed away.

The worst one was Antonio Puerta,
As a 9 yr old kid on TV I watched him go muerta.

This one wasn't for the faint of heart,
But I myself wanted to raise awareness and play my part.

The reason behind this is that I have friend,
I have a friend that has a heart condition like PS14 that I hope finds a happy end.

You 'd probably watch him play with Dinamo Zagreb on TV,
As a youngster he was top-rated in some categories and loved a nutmeg spree.

So happy that he takes care of himself and that he quit football stealthy,
Moral of the story: check your health no matter how fit you are and stay healthy.

Cap doffed!

You make a good point, what happened with Nouri was horrific. I just hope it's not the case with PS14, he's such a talented footballer, as was Nouri.

The desition comes to the player IMO, one player from my country called Antonio de Nigris was playing in Greece if I remember well. He was diagnosed with heart issues. He told doctors that he would take all the risks. That he prefers dying doing what he loves that living without playing football.

He died playing professional football in Greece. But he decided how to live and die with full happiness!

Ousmane Dembele, Mbappe, Lemar are all in the french senior squad now, Moussa Dembele is still at u21 level
Dembele won the award in December 2016 and Mbappe didn't have his first senior call up until March 2017. Lemar only got involved from November 2016 as he was called up as a replacement due to injury. O. Dembele got his first call up in August again after a player pulled out and his first appearance was in September. They were all involved in the season he got the award and he got there ahead of them all even Mbappe who at that time was still playing for the under 21s!

Agree with your comments there but what I meant is that Ousmane Dembele, Mbappe and Lemar have pushed on and look like they are ahead of Moussa Dembele.

League is very weak
Marseille would be a good platform for Dembele to show his quality and get a bigger move later.

yeah, from the few celtic games I watched last season I was impressed with him but I really don't think he's ready for the prem yet, even as backup.

Ligue 1 would be a good stepping stone for him.
