In all seriousness, Denilson was probably our best midfielder in the first half and was by no means the worst in the second although he faded a little bit.
Ade, nasri, Song and perhaps Clichy had worse and for some of them far worse games.

Almunia - 4 - at fault for the first goal, looked unsure most of the match, despite having little to do.
Sagna - 9 - Immense, made crucial tackles & interceptions all game. MOTM.
Gallas - 7 - Solid
Djourou - 7 - Gives us better shape and an aerial presence, unlucky for the O.G.
Clichy - 7 - Dreadful first half, but different man second half, made some incredible runs going forward.
Song - 6 - Poor first half where he got overrun, but second half he made some good interceptions & tackles, still a little slow.
Denilson - 5 - Useless, no strength, offered very little, somehow managed to get an assist.
Cesc - 7 - Did everything well, still needs more outlets to move the play forward.
Nasri - 6 - Poor first half offered little, a little better second half where he got stuck in.

Thank you Shadow for giving a realistic rating for Ade today. He was f*cking awful and his heart wasn't in it at all. For all the hard work and endeavour everybody else put in he did f*ck all, and just walked around for most of the match.
How anybody can think about giving him more than a 5 is beyond me?!

Almunia - 6. Swept up well a couple of times in the first half. Stupid punches and that stupid throw.
Sagna - 10. Perfect performance in every aspect. Absolute monster. Awesome.
Clichy - 9. Awful in the first half, lacking in confidence, but showed why some were touting him as captain material in the second half. Looked the best left back in the world in the second half.
Gallas - 9. I knew this Gallas would turn up. Practically faultless.
Djourou - 8. Nearly as good as Gallas, powerless to prevent the own goal. So strong and quick, and read the game really well.
Denilson - 4. Didnt do anything right in the whole 90 minutes. I dont know why I am even giving 4 tbh. Cant play again on the wing. I dont think he should even be near centre midfield.
Nasri - 7. Really stepped it up in the second half, and worked really hard in unison with superman...I mean Clichy.
Fabregas - 8. Brilliant, never wasted a pass. Controlled things in the second half.
Song - 7. Another who really turned things around at half time. Won some vital tackles when the heat was really on.
Van Persie - 9. Showed some really good touches in the first half, but in the second half he just exploded. Second goal was brilliant.
Adebayor - 7. Thought he was good throughout, considering he wasnt fit. Gave their defense kittens.
